Anyone have fog/driving lights installed on their 67/8 'Bird ??? I have a few ideas in mind but was curious what others have done.

Where are you thinking of mounting them?
Thought about it, just haven't seen a set that I thought would "fit" the overall feel of the car.

Are you thinking of replacing the stock parking lights or adding to them?

I'd be interested in seeing what other have done regarding this. What i was gonna do was probably mesh it out with black mesh and mount the lights behind it same with the top i'm going to phantom grill or something of that sort

I originally thought about adapting a 69 Camaro lower valence. But those lights are almost as big as our headlights. So that would look kind of goofy I think. I have found a couple of rectangular ones that might be about the same height as our turn signals. Could mount them side by side. Or even replace the stock turn signals this these and make them dual purpose lights. A third idea was to mount some smaller round lights like from a C6 'Vette either in the center like a 69 Camaro or 4th Gen T/A or even under the current turn signals. I have a couple of old lower 67 valences I can use to try various things once my car is back together. Or may take a shot at some photo choping. Just need to make sure I keep the sizes of the lights consistant and not distorted.

Still a long way from putting the front end back on so I'll keep looking.

Blazed67,

I was thinking of using some stainless "heavy" mesh, not sure what this stuff is called but we have it around at work.
Figured a couple of passes thru the slip roll should put enough of a bend in it to fit the contour of the valance, powdercoating it and thinking of mounting the lights behind that.

How much electrical would it take to wire some lights up as "multifunction"?
