4L80e date and tail housing identification

I decided to start yet another 4L80e thread to get away from hijacking other peoples threads.

Does anyone recall where the various transmission output pictures are posted? I saw a 4L80e today that had a large output bearing in the output housing (short), and a threaded hole in the output shaft.

Man, these things are HEAVY.

It appears this came out of a delivery van akin to a UPS truck or a SnapOn truck.

Does anyone know how to decipher the actual date codes? I am sure it's a later version, but not sure the year.
I think it's a 1999.

I may have bitten off more than I can chew right now. With all the extras that are needed, perhaps my th400 will do seeing how I drive the car less than 500 miles a year.
