LS1 Coil Packs

I am looking for info regarding the LS1 coil packs and how much voltage these put out with regards to spark. I've seen some people adapt them for other engines, but I don't know if it's because they spark better, more durable or if it's a cheaper replacement alternative.

I'd like to also ask that if someone has these specs for the truck coils they post that info too, as that's what i've picked up
