Beautiful and clean. I like it alot. The bumper line is deffinetly something I have not seen before.

I might have done black carpet (seems like alot of blues there) but I still love the car. The engine compartment looks like its all business.

Does it have AirRide?

Does it bounce?

lol, most popular question when young, and old both learn that it has AirRide. The answer is always "NO". Young kids are dissapointed, the old ones are glad it doesnt. Its always a kick.

There was a thread on here about annoying questions about your car. One dude said his was "does it bounce"? I thought the follow up ribbing he got was hilarious, hence my question.

I'm sure this Chevelle is bad a$$.

Are you guys planning on having this car at all the autocross events next year? I think this is a great idea. Show guys you can build a car and drive the hell out of it. Show people what it's capable of doing on a track. That is a car my friend worth winning! Great job looks great! Love the racing stripes. Very Cool. Anyone catch the slogan on the door panel by the door handle? Caution do not open in exceeds of 150mph. Brett has a good since of humor you gotta love it.

For free? Seems like this would be a great car to raise money for charity with. Even if you were charging $1 a ticket I bet that would be a few thousand to the Lukemia Society or Cystic Fibrosis. Just an idea.

With that said, this is a hell of a giveaway car. Top notch all the way. Now I'm pissed I didn't make it down to Columbus last weekend.:banghead:

yes we will have the chevelle RS at all of our autocross events we also will be driving the car to and from the shows, we also plan on taking it to the hotels in the evenings, so the care will be extensively tested before the new owner receives it. We finished the car the Wednesday before columbus, trailered it to columbus, but drove it home!

Did you guys just order the stainless works headers or are they built for that car? I ask b/c I'm a little worried about ordering headers and having clearence issues running full length headers with the air ride system. Any input or pictures would be great.

darren@ridetech
07-20-2007, 05:47 AM
It's their off the shelf header. They do hang below the cross member a bit, but not nearly as much as some of the others do.

Will you guys have this car in Pigeon Forge in September?

Most likely, but not sure yet.

Here are some build shots. Precision Coachworks www.paintgods.com (http://www.paintgods.com) here in Jasper,IN did the complete build. The bare metal stipes are one of the most unique parts of the build. Deleting the drip rails & flush mounting the glass turned out really nice as well.

They also narrowed and tucked the front and rear bumpers and deleted the marker lights and front license plate recess. It was almost a sin to paint over such nice metal work on the bumpers.
