What do you guys think of Nitto's new "Invo" tire? You like the way it looks? I think it looks kinda cool, but can't decide whether or not it will look good on a Camaro... I guess it just depends on personal preference eh? :smoke:

I personally think the tread design is kinda cool. On the right PT ride it could look very slick.

I think that's the worst reason I've heard to choose a tire.

I am not a fan of it. I like even repetitive patterns like this, plus the numbers were nice for the price. I am sure they work great but seem a little busy. Its hard to imagine how that all works together to provide the levels they say it provides. You would think with the 4 different patterns it would be like 25% awesome on wet while the other 75% was bad, thus driving on a 3" tire. Does that make sense?

yea the tread seems a little gimmicky, if that's a word. I can say, however that I have never looked at a car with big fat tires in the back and not thought that it looked good. But I would have to side with these guys and say that looks should be secondary to choice of a tire. of course I plan on going BF KDW -II, so I'm guilty too, but the KDWs got great reviews.

Yeah I saw these a while ago and I thought about getting a set since they're supposed to be better than the NT555's, but I dunno. Like someone said, it just seems that with all those different tread patterns, you'd be sacrificing a lot of each area (wet, dry, mud/snow, etc) for looks.

Looks aside they look good on paper specs wise for the intended application and plenty of fat 18" and 19" sizes.

Hey people choose wheel size for looks so why not a tire. Do those 22's really add to handling???

They remind me of the old Yokohama 008??? or something like that that had a split pattern.

My personal opinion is that those would be something like my track tires not everyday tires.
i am really looking at Bridgestone RE-01 and the WideOvals too,,,well any ove the Bridgestone/Firestone tires.
I used to work for Firestone and love the tires. The dedication to excelent tires is very hard to miss.
A lot of people missed the concept of an entry level "tuner/performance" tire when th eFusions came out and I drove an older Vette I had sold him Goodyear F1s back in 02 nad he replaced them with Fusions as he was going through a divorce and had to sell his truck. WE put on Blizzaks for the winter. Vary nice tires for the price.
As for that new Nitto,,well everything they have built that I see is of top quality. As for Kuhmos Ill never put them on the ground unless I am between a rock a hard place and driving on the rims.
When I worked in a tire store we took many of them off and at the Goodyear dealer I worked for before that sold a lot and warrantied a lot of them.
Others may have good luck with them nut I saw a LOT of problems with Kuhmos QC.
Anyway my top line tires to recommend are:
Bridgestone/Firestone
then BFG
Then Nitto and the second and third are tied.
This is from someone who who sold and installed tires.
But run what your happy with.
Good Luck.
