Will this engine survive with 6-8psi?

NO, not without replacing pistons. It will explode with 2LBS boost if you do not change them. Otherwise is has good parts and can easily make a 600HP package, but you will need to do pistons and a major rebalance of the rotating assembly as the forged pistons are much heavier then your Hyper Explosive pistons.
