Hey Guys,
Been a while since I've posted over here, some of you probably remember my firebird and ideas. Well with school and exams and stuff I really had to put everything on hold till after christmas. Now I have some time before I go back to school to work on things. I am in the beginning stages of building up my pontiac motor for my firebird. I've got a 400 block 30 over, a 428 crank which will have the mains ground down to 3" so that it fits the 400 block, as well as grind the rod journals down to BBC rod end size. I will be using a 6.8" BBC rod and a custom Ross piston in the motor along with some '76 6x-4 D Port Heads. Some of the best flowing heads pontiac made.
As for the car it's self I ditched the 650 CFM Holley DP for a stock q-jet and the poncho 350 runs MUCH better. I forgot what it was like to have an American V8! Since I've been driving my truck around at school 500 miles away.
Well I just wanted to check in to let you guys know I have not fallen off the face of the earth!
