wow, that camaro is killer. nice to have lots of money, makes it easy, here you do it tell me when its done. but i think most of the fun is doing it yourself or as much of it as you can. but in jr`s case i don`t think he has the time to do something like that. mike

love to see 2nd gens get the treatment that it seems only 1st gens usually get. thanks for the link; I always forget to check the mfgrs project pages.
now, if only we could figure out why Jr.'s car is home depot orange...

Whoa! That thing looks incredible! Im not sure if I like the dual turn signals even if the lower ones are faux. But otherwise it looks killer! What taillights are they using? The details in that build are amazing and to think its been done to a 2nd gen Camaro?!

That has to be the best 2nd Gen Camaro I've ever seen!!! I love that car! Congrats on a job well done to the guys at DSE. It's looks like it will perform as good as it looks.

More proof that if you got the money, all your wildest dreams can come true. That car is nearly perfect. If I had to nit-pick anything it would be the digital gauge in the dash. I'm not a big fan of those things in classic cars. Other than that, you gotta tip your hat to painter and DS&E. Probably the baddest 2nd gen on the planet.

That's a killer car! Lot of details. Hope DSE will make some more parts available like the fender braces.

I keep going through all the photos and am blown away at the craftsmanship @ DSE. I wish I had 1/10th that talent. Car looks awesome, only thing I'd change is making the faux lower ducts functional for brake cooling.

I think they are functional... but you are right...the craftmanship is incredible!

I too wish I had that kind of talent.

Edit: you beat me to it!
I wouldn't swear to it, but it looks to me like they are functional brake ducts.

It looks to me that's why they left the lower turn signal lights in, to provide air to the brake cooling ducts. In one of the build pics, you can see a screen with the turn signal light trim around it.

I am confused about the airbox on the carb. I thought the purpose of pulling air in from around the cowl is to get colder air. Then why put holes in it so it can pull in warm engine bay air?

Just think, they just added to Paul's talents by acquiring Hollehan from Rad Rides!

that has me confused also, unless the holes are for show and they will have plexiglass or something covering them.

That is a work of art... except for the air cleaner. I wonder what they were thinking. All that work to get cool air is wasted.:screwy:

Amazing car! Back in the 80's I tried to blend the RS upper valance and standard lower valance too, looked cool even before I finished the bodywork, but I head on in an intersection changed that idea.
I want specs on that car!!!

In theory, there is more air coming in through the cowl than can be used, so it shouldn't get warm air in under the hood. But, why would you wan't more pressure inder the hood? Sure looks cool though!!!
Shiny Side Up!

A turbo gives more air than the engine can use too but I don't see holes in the plumbing for it.

MrQuick, It was a comparison, meaning the holes made about as much sense as holes on a turbo setup.

Took since Febuary this year to build. I talked to DSE in Columbus and they supplied the car. Said it was in pretty good shape to start with. The car is more killer in person. Dale Jr. was to pick it up on the 17th.
