anyone ever paint there wheels hyper black? its a black chrome look and i've wanted to have my wheels done for the longest time and recently came across this http://www.innate.com/Paint/Chrome/HyperBlack.htm
anyone know anything about it or can point me to somewhere with more info?

well i'll see what happens, just didn't want to mess up 4k in rims lol. i think it will look sick on my camaro with blacked out bumpers and a deep red body color.

I get all my custom paint from Innate, have used his Aluminum and chrome paints with great results.

All I will say is that for best results you need to apply a black base coat, clear, let sit for a week and then polish the surface before doing the "hyperblack" part, so if you have a wheel with intricate design, thats where all the effort will be.

check out alsa corps they also have black crome and abunch of other nice looking paints

i found someone local that can send my wheels out and have some kind of chemical treatment done on them and it looks better and last longer than paint. he said there is only two places in the country that do it, one in ohio and one in cali. $250 per wheel but has a 3 year warranty so i think i'm going to do that since it won't have any orange peal like paint.

I have some of that "transparent" paint. Has anyone ever used that stuff before?
