Anyone hear of a show in November at Franklin Brown Park (I think that's the name) in Panama City? It said on the flyer they had 1000+ cars last year. I want to go down but it's a 8-10 hour drive & I hated to go down & only see 100-200 cars. Anyone on here heard of it or been to it? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Clint

I remember getting an advertisement during the Power Tour about an event during that time frame. Let me see if I can find it.

I found out from the show promoter that they had over 1100 cars last year & I think he said 112 vendors. He also said they had 120 vendors lined up for this year & pre-registration was way up from last year. I checked on some rooms & they are almost booked up so I guess it's worth going to. I'm going, I guess I need to start packing!:headbang:

The show is Emerald Coast Cruizin from 7-11 Nov. Last year was way better than the first. They listened to suggestions and year two was much better organized, had better vendors and they probably had 1000 cars over the length of show. The entry road is now paved and show parking is expanded over a very large, well manicured grassy area (plenty of room). The daytime show is at Frank Brown Park on Backbeach Road (HWY 98) on the western end of the beach. The biggest day in the past was Saturday. You can come and go as you like throughout the day. They sponsor different parties and activities at host hotels and beach clubs during the evenings. Of course there's always the normal adult and kid stuff to be found in a Spring Break flavored area (beach, clubs, aquarium, min-golf). Even though I live in the local area, I plan to burn some hotel points and stay at the Holiday Inn on Friday and Saturday. I'll go to the venues but look forward to enjoying the show during the evenings from my lawnchair at roadside. Their web site with event info is: http://emeraldcoastcruizin.com/2007.htm. FYI, I have no connection whatsoever with the show or show sponsors.
