Long story made short:

I have a set of Halibrand 5 Spoke Wheels that I bought direct from Halibrand in 1999 before they were sold off to another company. Halibrand did special "machining" to match them up with my Baer Track Brake setup. This "machining" consisted of taking some material off of each inside spoke for caliper clearance and "re-surfacing" the hub area for-what-reason-I-don't-know.

Well as it goes with any car build I did not drive the car with the new wheels on it until almost 3 years later when the build up was complete, and lo and behold, the front wheels wobble like a hooker on meth.

After much investigating it turns out the genius at Halibrand that performed the uneccessary hub machining did not place the wheel straight in the CNC/lathe machine which resulted in an uneven hub surface and wobbly wheel!

I call up Halibrand, mind you 3 years after purchase, but ZERO miles on wheels. I get the new "owner" who was less than cooperative. After days of haggling with him he reluctantly agrees to accept the wheels back to be "repaired". I ship them out to Halibrand. Get em back like a month later. Guess what. They never even took them out of the box. Baysterds! (read: BOYCOTT HALIBRAND!).

So here I am, years later, looking to make space in the garage for more worthy items and would like to PROPERLY repair these expensive wheels, then eBay them. What I am looking for is a REPUTABLE machine shop that can place the wheels in a lathe and take off a few thousands on the hub surface so the wheel spins properly.

Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.:usa:
