1st Gen stock fuel tank

Anyone have a stock tank (empty) and not in the car. I'm wondering how much the stock tank weighs.

DT, My scale says 21 pounds. That's everything, the sending unit, gas cap, and the residual tar!

I think I'm going to a Rick's SS tank. I've heard they're about 40 pounds.

Right now I'm rebuilding our house so the car is on hold. But once that's done (7-9mos) I'll be able to get crackin. I'm sure there will be a thing or two that I'll need another pair of hands for. Beer in ready supply of course.
