I have a 1969 Camaro project car, and am dropping in a Big Block Chevy. After doing some research (but apparently not enough), I settled on a 4L80-E transmission from BowTie Overdrives. At the same time that I picked up the trani, I picked up one of their crossmembers...which turns out to NOT EVEN BE CLOSE TO FITTING. Anyway, after much internet browsing, it seems that nobody makes one that I can use, straight out of the box. SO, if you know otherwise, or can recommend me to a fabrication shop in the Southern California area, I would greatly appreciate it!
