Hello all! While I may be new to this site after sitting here thinking about it, I'm not really that new to the scene. I've owned a few cars in the past that I guess would qualify as "Pro-Touring", as well as my current rides. The rides are a 2001 Z-28 and a 1971 Camaro. The '71 is a work in progress and the '01 is my daily driver, so basically I'm constantly wrenching on both which means neither one will probably ever be what I would concider complete. I'll post up some specs on the cars over the next few days as I start to familiarize myself with the forums here. Basically I just wanted to say hi for now and poke around a bit.

Welcome to the site, Ron. Glad to have ya on board.
I met Ron today and had a chance to talk to him about his projects. Nice guy and nice Z/28, too!

Welcome aboard! I guess if you met Ralph today you must live in the NY area? And please post some pics of your cars when you have a minute!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I'll get some pics together and try and post them. I'm not too good with computers, so we'll see how that works out! I am from the New York area, Long Island in particular and I'm looking forward to picking your brains about some different things, as it seems that there's a wealth of information on here that pertains directly to my projects.

I'm gonna give this a shot if I can figure out how to shrink the image! Ok, I've been screwing with this for about 15 minutes and I can't figure it out! Any suggestions? I tried to post a video clip also, but can't figure that out either. I suck! Lol!

Thanks again for the welcome. I know this site is geared towards older vehicles getting modern treatment, so as soon as I get some digital pics of my '71 I'll post them up and I'll try to make them a bit smaller. Basically it was a standard Camaro with a 350 2 barrel. Nothing special. It now has a 388 c.i. SBC with Edelbrock F.I., 700R4 w/ 2500 stall, 3.73's, custom subframe connecters, 6 pt. roll bar, Willwood disks on all 4 corners, fiberglass mono-leafs out back, a transverse fiberglass monoleaf running through the k-member up front with tubular a-arms in stead of coil springs, 17x9.5's in the rear with 17x8's up front. I'm moving the car next week, so I'll snap some pics then.

Ok, I'm moving my '71 Camaro from my parents garage to the garage at my new house tomorrow. I'll try to snap a few pictures like I promised. Just be advised this things been collecting dust over there for quite a few months, so please be gentle!
