Lightweight headlight ?

A normal 7" round headlight weighs 2.5 lbs. I have in my hands a 2005 Mustang headlamp assembly which actually weighs a lot less, as it is nothing but plastic and the bulb. It is actually quite a bit physically larger than a 7" round. Anyone ever seen a 7" round headlamp that is lighter than the glass versions ?

Any of the HID conversions that save weight ?

Any of the HID conversions that save weight ?Our 7" euro H4 headlamp weighs right a 1.5 lbs with a glass lense. HID won't save you weight because of the weight of the ballasts.
