I'm looking to get a good for my 71 and I'm trying to decide which one i get it.
US body (and UP22, but lets not mention them and their terrible products), is the company that makes it, and they have a heavy duty version and a race weight version. the car's a heavy beast, so the lighter the better. But I am concerned about the fit of the race weight hood. It's less expensive, which is nice, and if it's just because they use less material, that's even better. I have no problem doing fiberglass finishing work, and I'm not concerned with the look of the underside of the hood, or being able to use the factory latch. so, just based on looks, with the hood closed how do these match up to their heavier counterparts?
I'd like to place an order in the next couple weeks, does anyone know the turn around time from them?
