View Full Version : Fired the 406 today and installed some more home made do dads.

Finelly fired up the 406 today and It sounds great. Has a nice steady rumble with a minimal lope at 750 rpm in gear with the 232* @.050 roller cam. Brakes have no vac issues like I was affraid of. Fired right up too. always a good thing and only had 1 leak a fiting on the intake.

I built a mid mount bracket for the Alt. I also made the turnbuckle for the heim adjuster. I need a longer belt though. I also built the power steering pump bracket.

I am realy crazy about these awsomely perfect wire seperators. Ive never seen a set work so well and not be gaudy or in the way.

Hope I didnt toot my own horn too hard on the wire seperators.... I made them too. lol

Thanks. I was exspecting a beating over me dusting off the old wallet and getting an MSD Billet dist.. Maybe no one noticed my binge spending.. lol PLEASE DONT TELL MY WIFE... J/K
