A few years ago I bought one of P/N 12480155 left side C5 brake rotor, this rotor was "special" in that it was made from a different material & was thicker than stock. Now I need the right side one to complete the set, P/N 12480156, but guess what? GM no longer has it available & there is no replacement. Should I just go with stock C5 rotors, or does someone make aftermarket ones that you would recommend?
Thanks

Scot,
Scoggins Dickey shows one for $93.71 if that helps.

Just part of the free service. :) By the way did your GM parts person check to see if any other dealers might still have one in stock?

Check Lonestar Caliper in Texas. They are the largest rebuilder of Corvette brakes and stock LOTS of Corvette unique brake/suspension parts.

The dealer looked to see if there was a new part number or replacement for it. There was none, he did not look to see if any local dealers had them. I am going to call Scoggin Dickey Monday & find out if they really still have them.

I called Scoggin Dickey & they do NOT have it even though it can be ordered on their on-line ordering system. :-(

I'd check the dealer locating get-up, I've located parts before for 80s cars that were just sitting on some shelf in a dusty corner, also if they drop ship it to your dealer then they usually don't charge any shipping, or at least they never have for me, which could be extra $$ when talking about the weight of a rotor.

OEConnection only shows Grabiak Chevrolet in New Alexandria PA to have one. GM service parts center is closed right now. lol.
