96 Vortec conversion

Anyone know of any older non LS series Vortec engine conversions? I have a 96 C3500 with a 5.7 that is being swapped for a Cummins, and was thinking of using the 5.7 with injection, computer etc in my 67 Camaro.
Anyone tried it?

You shouldn't have a problem running that, it is based on the gen 1 small block.
