Underhood painting

Im in the process of repainting my engine bay and was throwing around the idea of doing it in grey spatter paint. Give it a 60/70's road race look. Whatcha think?

I would just go with a flat black myself.

I have done this on an old car I had built in the 80's and it looked pretty good. Just remember that the spatter paint is porous. It stays clean looking a lot better than black.
