After living with 3 colors of primer for years I thought it was time for a change. Primered the car black, put some new corvette motorsport black z06 wheels on it and painted the calipers red. Heres some before and after pics. What do you guys think?

I love the rims. Now paint the darn thing! Nothing beats a nice paint job. It takes the car to the next level. You must be primer king. lol

Planing to get it painted this winter. Dont want to have down time when the weather is nice. Thinking of charcoal gray.

I like the black. If it were mine I'd probably leave it, spend the money on go faster stuff. I swear to god if my Corvettes paint wasn't so nice I'd flat black it too. Way less goomba's every time I go to the gas station and everywhere else. I'm way tierd of that sh!#.

I'd like to know where you got an 18 x 9.5" wheel. Everywhere I look 18's only come with 9" or 10" widths. Nobody seems to make an 18 x 9.5" wheel.

Many of the custom wheel manufacturers have them: Budnik, Intro, etc.

This is a after market corvette wheel the zo6 had 9.5" wide. I think I could fit a 10". I have 1.75" spacers in the frt and a wider ford 9" in the rear its out of a torino.

The story that I learned when I was wheel shopping was that if the wheel has the traditional lip, then it is a 9.5". If it has the new fat lip then they are 10". If you are not confused yet, let me go a step further. The 9.5" traditional lip is 10" overall width, and the 10" fat lip is 11" overall width.

Yeah, that's confusing as all get out. When my wheels showed up I measured them from lip to lip and was like... WTF? I called the shop and they assured me they were right. Oh well... as long as they fit. :)

Awesome car man. I dig the flat black, makes it look meaner!

Nice. The flat black is growing on me. The wheels are perfect for the look.
