would Napa Syl-Glyde work to slip injectors in manifold & rails? i bought that for brakes, it must hold up to heat well, and help preserve any rubber parts?
thx, Scott

I had always heard not to use Vaseline, was told that it deteriorates the rubber. I use either lithium grease, or tranny fluid.

I have used it many times on injector orings along with seal lips etc, works great and won't damage the rubber.

Anything petroleum based will work. When I worked for Firestone we had a product called slider, petroleum based with teflon so I doubut it would hurt but anything slick helps.

I use brake cylinder assembly lube, much better than normal lubes.

On every car I build or put injectors in I use Sylglide. Great stuff.
