Yes, it was the day of my crowning achievement. As of 521pm, Saturday... little Kennedy Ellea arrived and made her presence known.

Mom and baby are doing fine... and I'm just running around trying to get the normality's of everyday life accomplished in between cups of coffee and the battle damage assessment of crying, diaper changes, taking care of Mom and the influx of family into our home.

She, with no question is Daddy's little girl. With the exception of the glandular sustenance, Dad so far is the go-to guy. I am the one with the calming touch and soothing voice to quiet the frustrations in the new and strange world. Its either that, or Im hunting down the creator of any disturbance... to kill it.

As luck would have it... Im thinking that she already loves cars. Even though the BMW is a little too soft for my liking (5 series)... she was all big eye'ed and had a smile on her face the whole way home. Now if that isnt a good enough of a reason to get the 67 done... I dont know one. Afterall, we'll need something safe to take her around the block in when she has trouble sleeping.

This past week has been surreal to say the very least. With the influx of family in and out... trips to the pediatrician... etc etc... its been a little busy. But the kid is starting to fall into her routine and things are getting back to a somewhat normal pace. Its the next 18 years I am worried about... as there is no routine from here on out. It has been a blast thus far...

"You know you are a father when......." You know you are a father when you buy the wife a mini-van !!

Then... throw down the limo tint and start looking up things to do to the van !!
