Hotchkis rear upper adjustible control arm problem question for GM A-Body??

I`m in the process of doing the installation when i noticed on the upper control arm specifically the drivers side i had to put a notch in it cause it would not fit due to it hitting the rear end housing,has anyone experienced this problem with their`s on their GM A-Body?

Here are before and after pics,i cut it that much cause the arm moves so i didnt want it to touch anything while moving up and down.

Is the rear a 12 bolt? It`s fairly common to have to notch them like that for certain (but not all) 12 bolt housings. Mark SC&C

Yes `67 Chevelle 12 bolt rear,so its not a problem you say?
