well guys, if you looked at my post below i had planned on changeing the intake and cam on my 355 nova..... well!!! i got to thinking and broke down and bought a new set of afr 195 elimantors!!:yeah: so i'm looking for some hp estimates..... on afr's web sight they have a very simular dyno sheet on a 355 with a tad less comp made 450 hp, about the same duration as my new vodoo cam (i will have more lift with my 1.6) so what do you guys think for hp/torq #'s? heres the specs
355 9.7 compression
afr 195 elimanators
performer rpm air gap intake
voodo cam duration at .050 227/233 , .489/.504 lift
1.6 roller rockers( puts lift to .521/.537
msd ignition
holley hp 750 mech seconds
also i was wondering if anyone else has got their hands on these heads yet? on afr's web site they give a intake gasket # then 2 lines down says not to port match to that gasket because its not the port size?? what gives?? anyone know what # intake gaskets will match up to the afr's?? i have a set of edlerbrock gaskets that are supposed to match the intake...but i'd like to match the intake to the heads
