68 Camaro wheels/tires on a 66 Chevelle?

Hey everyone,

I bought some Boze Forged wheels for my 68 Camaro project, but am thinking of changing directions and minitubbing/front sub on that. So I might try to put these wheels and tires on my new 66 Chevelle project.

Here are sizes.

18x8 front w/ 4.875" BS
18x9 rear w/ 5.5" BS

245/40/18 front
275/40/18 rear


Will these fit well and look good on a 66 Chevelle? Have searched here and Team Chevelle but could not find a clear case.

you should be fine. if anything you might get front rub on your sway bar at full lock depending on your caster and ride height.

as far as looking good thats up to personal taste

We are just doing Hotchkis 1" drop springs on the Chevelle, not sure on caster.

As far as looking good, I guess I meant will they tuck in under the wheels too much or stick out too much and look awkward.
