Hi all:
I bought a replacement cartridge for my grease gun and it states to "not mix different types of grease bases." The old cartridge is NGLI #1 1/2 and is a lithium-hydroxy stearate base, and the new cartridge is a Napa brand NGLI #2 and unknown base.
This is used for greasing ball joints and steering linkage. Please educate me on this.
