Nice choice Alan. Who makes that intake setup?

The intake is made by Kinsler Fuel injection, as far as quality for a individual intake runner setup they are one of the best out there.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Trey,

It is a Kinsler Intake on a stock (for now) LS6. The motor has about 12,000 miles on it.

I want one too.
That looks good on an older body style car !

The cost of the intake is about 5000, maybe less since it does not have the Idle Air circuit. Plus ECU. It is not cheap by anymeans. Most of you guys have seen mine and they run as good as they look. It really brings up the torque like 40-50 ft pounds more.

The height is adjustable to your liking, they also can be set up for log style manifold which we are using on our tall deck LSX project currently.

If you need more info call me, or scott at kinsler and tell him rodger from Ironworks sent ya.

what does it do for air filters?

Sorry ya'll I have been doing my civic duty this week on Jury duty. Rodger is correct - the intake runs about $5000 dollars with all the options. The ECM is around $2500 extra. As for the height David and I will get some measurements and some pics here soon. Glad to see everyone likes it. Rodger - yours is the one that made me want this setup. I got this one from James Kinsler from his car that he fabricated. You can see it on LS1tech under his name of Argon. They are some real nice folks at Kinlser.

Well we installed the engine in the car. We had lots of help. Thanks to all who stopped by and gave a hand. You can see how it looks installed in the car. The car is still very much in mockup stage but you can see how the intake fits. The intake clears the hood with plenty of room.

You forgot to put the cut out piece back in for the photos. This could come back to haunt you. :) Glad it fit so well. It's going to be fantastic once it's done.

Thanks for your help Trey. I really appreciated it.
