Hey guys I have been a member for a week now. Figured I better start posting. I am 23 years old will be 24 in september. I will be going to wyotech school this winter to become a diesel/gas tech. Well anyways ask me any questions you guys want to. Anyways getting on to what I have. I have a 1965 Chevelle. Came with a 4 muncie 4 speed 327 300hp motor and a 308 posi rear end. The car was black with light blue interior. My Father bought this car brand new in 1964. he drove it off and on till he was drafted into veitnam. Were he gave the car to his father to keep while he was gone. Well my grand father pulled the motor out in 68 to put in a R.V. then the car sat for 30 years on the coast. Till my father brought it over for me because I was interested in restoring it. so my dad put an inline 6 in with a 3 speed to get the car over but 30 years on the coast did not do the car any good. I have a lot of work to do SO far the frame is almost finished but This is no stock frame. Mark Stielow is one of my heros on this project for he gave me the idea I could fit more than a 275 in the rear without a lot of work. H squeezed a 315 in the back with a 2" mini tubb. I have gone the extra little bit and have gone 2.25" on my mini tubb. I know a 1/4 inch woohoo but it may help I am hoping to fit 335 underneath with 3/4" of clearence per tire side. and then running 275 up front. I will go ahead and make another post of my project and tell you more about otherwise I am glad to be apart of the forum.
