Hi Guys -

My ongoing build is starting to come along pretty well. Together with my father we have almost replaced every panel on the car. It is a single owner RS that is getting a new life. My dad is building a car as well, and I'll get him to post pictures of his in the near future (a second 1969 Camaro)

The car is built as follows:

383 Stroker w/ TH350 (will be replaced with a 4L60E)
Intro Classic 18" Wheels
Global west front and rear springs and DelAlum bushings
ATS spindles w/ C5 Brakes
1974 Nova rearend w/ LS1 rear brakes
DSE Smoothed Firewall
All new body panels - doors, quarters, roof, fenders, hood, etc.

if you are not re leading the 1/4 seams make sure they get fully welded, so you have no problems, looks good

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to weld it fully just as the quarter panels. I probably have at least another 1000 spot welds to do on the car. :D

Buy at least a dozen vice grips of all shapes and sizes. they are irreplaceable when fitting panels. Also don't worry if you ding things up when putting them on - it will all be easy to fix when in the body shop. Just take your time and fit the panels over and over and it'll turn out fine. Take LOTS and LOTS of measurements for reference - it will help on the confidence when fitting new metal.

Well... all the sheetmetal is done now. The rear window to trunk piece is tacked into place so I can start final welding now. I'll have more updated pics soon.
