View Full Version : Look what I get to drive to work

It's a '04 Colorado ZQ8

My brother is out of town on business so he generously allowed me (headlock works best:injured: j/k) to use his beater until I get some daily driver issues sorted out.

Would be more fun if it had a LSX motor and a M6 in it. The I5 and auto kinda make it feel like a pig. But all in all not bad way to ride into work I think.

Just thought I would share

Sharp-looking rig! I got to drive my buddy's truck too for a few months while he was deployed, it was a stock Ford Ranger though. This is way cooler...

Cool truck. I have a GMC Canyon (same truck) and I like it.

Hey, where were those last two pics taken??? And I must compliment the photography, you take those?

Those pictures were taken last week at an old decomposing Frigidaire plant in downtown Dayton. No I didn't take them, my brother did. He's quite the shutter bug

VERY sweet ride. I have been considering one for a DD instead of the Silverado.

I too am in the bling bling slow but reliable daily driver crew.

My brother didn't want too much "Bling" this is why he went with the Black rims. As for slow, yeah it kinda is but I was surprised that those 20s with 245/40s ride as well as they do. The truck is just begging for a V8 that will just peel the skins off those wheels.

That's a good looking Colorado  . We have them at work with the I5, they don't seem too 'weak' for what they are. I had a 1999 GMC Sonoma ZQ8 with the 4.3 and if the colorado is anything like it, it's a blast to drive! I like the pics at the factory.

thanks for the comments, yeah it's my daily driver/other toy

I'm also working on the family's 68 GTO and my 89 z24 convertible (you can never have too many toys ;) )
