Check out flatlander racing. They have a system that allows you to select from a variety of components and prices.

I havent ordered from here myself but a lot of the guys on the second gen board have had good luck.

look under "rotating assemblies" and "stroker kits" on the left hand side.

Components or built motors? What size motor? Cubes? HP level? Different people specialize in different things.

i wanted to build a 406 but can not find a decent 400 block so i'm looking at a 383 long block chevy. this will be a mild motor for now.
if i was to give a hp# maybe....350-400 or so but down the line i want to stuff a blower on it. i would like a nice set of forged pistons and rods( 6-inch rod ?) forged crank? heads most definately iron for now, probally dart?
i already have an airgap intake, demon750 carb, ignition, starter, h2o pump and so on i have talked to a few builders in my area as well but my nieghbor also offerd to show me how to build my first motor.

If you buying heads already why go Iron. Price is comparable.
