Been reading a lot bout pro touring cars and i want one. ive been restoring cars for 18 yrs and for the past 10 they have been correct nut and bolt restorations as my profession. this is the car that ive decided to do and id like to hear from other chevelle owners. i kno what i want and just dont kno what works well. big brakes with air ride is a must and proilly a set of 18 front and 19 rear. if any 1 has some pix and what was done would be very helpfull..

thanks
Andy

Looks like a nice, clean car!

I have a '72 Olds 'vert, nothing all that special, but it might serve up a few ides. www.FQuick.com/ProTouring442 (http://www.FQuick.com/ProTouring442)

Where in TN are you? My wife an I should be moving to somewhere around Oak Ridge in the next several years.

Welcome to the site, Andy. You don't see too many pro-touring Chevelle convertibles; it should be really cool when complete.

Love the car. You need to post up in other sections to ask your questions.

That would be the Oak Ridge we'll be moving to! Thanks for the comments on my Olds, maybe I can even work on it again soon. My "shed" (12' X24') is almost done, so a little moving of all our crap and I'll be able to work in the garage!
