Well what do you get with guys who have nothing to do but mix and match old parts destined for the scrape yard?
We took a 267 block(factory 3.5x 3.48) junked the crank and then we took a 262 crank(3.621 bore i thinkx 3.1 stroke).
We used some longer rods and the 267 pistons and turned the tops down someand they fit of course(we thought this up as we had a set of stock 267 moly rings and a block with 27k on it and no ridge.
the cam as a 151 (350/327) cam we had laying around.
WE used a set of 305 Hi comp heads and an old 50s aluminum intake of unknown origin.
This wee beastie got stuck on a dyno and made 361 hp and 341 lb ft of torque and its so small. It Idles like a super stoker with that tiny cam and compression.
We used an old methanol 660 center squirter i had bought and we tweaked it on E85!
This POS is sweet,, my buddy who owns most of the parts wants my GM Heavy Duty Ignition (IE MSD 6T) and to put it in his Miata or RX7.
Even so tiny it screams! The wail from the dyno came over my computer a few minute s ago and i thought it was something outrageous.
So much for junk parts huh?

Sounds like fun! That sucker made a lot of power for such a small motor. Sounds like something the Car Craft crew would do. I can't wait to get back to the states and start messing around with junkyard small blocks!

Lets see the dyno sheet! I'd love to see that power curve!

Where the heck did you even find those displacement engines? They only built them for what two years? I didn't think anyone even knew they existed besides me!

Can't believe how quickly the starter let this thread die.

A lot of talk and nothing to back it up.

I figure that the old Duntov, -097 solid lifter cam woulda been a real winner in a little 238.6" motor like yours!

And moving right along, set up w/ the right, modern stuff, the little sucker should hit 10,000 rpm easy, imho!! IF the cast crank will take it??
