Once I get my minitub finished, I'll be sending my Ford 9" rearend to Moser to be narrowed. How far inboard from the stock location do I need to tell them to mount the spring perches since I'll be using DSE offset shackles? I can't use the DSE adjustable perches because my rearend is a heavy duty housing with 3.25" axle tubes. I will be using a set of universal (look kind of like Mopar style) perches from Currie. What should I have them set the pinion angle at? I'm thinking about 3 degrees.

Where can I get shock plates made to bolt to 3.25" axle tubes? Looking for inboard, staggered mount to fit the minitub. If none are available, I might have to have someone make me a set.

Thanks!

Nathan

Hi Nathan, well I guess i'll answer since everyones out Xmas shopping....
I suggest getting everything mocked up in the car tighten the u bolts up and tacking the perches in, let Moser fully weld them in cause they will do it in a jig.
On the pinion angle, set it up a zero and use shims to adjust angle. happy holidays!
