Ok... When I try to start the motor... it starts and everything but it won't stop cranking... Even when I take the key out.. I have it hooked up right... (ign. to the inside.. "s" terminal, pos. to the big terminal... I benched it and it worked fine... But it doesn't in the car.. Any ideas?

A little low battery, bad solenoid, too close to flywheel, or bad bendix in starter are the main causes. Those are what I would check first.

...and check the ignition switch, sometimes the contacts fuse together.

Battery was low...
But it's a new solenoid, and bendix, and I shimmed it so it moves in and out freely...
I checked the wiring with a multimeter and it all checked out fine?... 12.3V at "start" .050V at 'IGN.'
Ima shim it down again and hot wire it tomorrow see if that does anything.
