The new steering box made a huge difference. Everything was different for me. And the course was crazy long(almost a mile).

Before you guys point it out againg I know I really need to install the front sway bar. But I didnt want to change to many things on the car at once(to big of a project for a beginer) But I talked to my dad yesterday and we are going to put my car on his lift and do the g-mod and install the front bar hopefully next week. If work allows me enough time.

Auto-X is so much fun! I ran a season of it before I built my shop (which took all of my time on the weekends). Looks like you were having a blast!

Looks like fun. Great to see guys utilizing their cars. The bar alone will make a huge difference in how you handle. Should help with some of the oversteer (looks like it). At least this will help you understand exactly what happens with these types of changes. A very good learning experience.

Addicting, isn't it?

Addicting doesnt even describe it. Whats not to love about the sport. I pay 35 dollars to drive my car hard in a safe environment, on a diffrent course each time, and meet/hangout with so many great poeple. I will have a autox only car this year. Not sure what though.

That is pretty cool, nice ride.
Was this done w/ SCCA (Auto cross)?

Thanks
Al

I have thought about finding a Mazda Miata and setting it up solely for auto-x. 'Smaller' cars are so much fun, seems that most of the courses were set up for small cars (and we were driving a LS1 Camaro SS).

Yeah I have toyed with the idea too. But I really like my class. It's fun wheeling my boat around the autox.

Nice Nova. And I really like the fabbed up front aero splitter. Have any pictures of it at all and how you mounted it?

Thanks. Here are a few pictures of the front airdam/spiltter(whatever you want to call it).

It just sheet metal I had bent up at the local A/C shop. It's bolts to the subframe and the three supports bolt to the bumper. Its really stiff. I can pull the car around by just tugging on one of the supports.
