Here is a little side project I have decided to do since my car is at the paint shop awaiting paint. Not a car, but this little guy made me money back in middle and high school so I could buy my first 79 trans am (still have), a 65 imperial. (sold) and a some parts for a 66 300 which I’ll probably junk that car and find a good example and switch over the hipo goodies and options. After many lawns and wagon hauling, the engine went and has sat for a 5 years. A new engine was recently purchased and a simple clean of the rust and paint turned into taking everything apart and redoing it. Sand blasting, vari-prime and paint. Decals were not obtainable so they were masked off with tape. With out further ado, I bring you a shinny Massey Ferguson MF 7 from 1969ish. Only things left to do are mount the engine, add a different intake so carb will fit and add on the Mack bulldogs to the front and the rear ( I apologize from the truck driver who lost these items about 10 years ago) haha

Specs:
6x6x15 up front
8x8.5x18 in the rear
10 hp engne (hood clearanced to fit bigger engine)
3 speed manual
blocked off head lights for less electricity draw :)

Chassis items all painted in gray /silver mist as the factory called it.

Looks like a tractor again. Yea. On front tire is missing due to it having a hole it. The company that I purchased them from is sending me a new one..

That looks great! I did something similar with an old John Deere back in High School...and by similar, I mean I only spray painted it deere green and taped off the faded stickers and put on a new seat, belts and blades! ;) It was also my means of income during High School, which bought me a 1966 Impala 2dr hardtop, sold when I went to college, and a '63 Corvair 2dr sedan, sold shortly after it caught fire. ;)

I have thought about doing that to my current John Deere. My mom and dad bought it right around the time I was born and I'm still using it today (though I have added a few 'battle scars' to it over the years). Yes, I'm much rougher on it than my dad ever would have been :naughty: . It also helped me make money when I was a kid so I figure it deserves to be freshened up a little.

Jeff Foxworthy once said 'You might be a redneck if you've ever rolled a riding lawnmower'.

I've done that. :1st:

Also to clarify, it was the Corvair that caught fire, not the mower...which was a good thing as far as I am concerned. ;)
