Doe's anyone know how to test a speed sensor on a gear vendor's overdrive? Trans. won't shift into overdrive and i think that the speed sensor is bad. THANKS

The speed sensor on a gear vendor's overdrive can be read on AC only.
Use a drill to turn the sensor. Voltage will increase to a max of 3.5 to 4 volts as RMP Increases.

Russ thanks for the info. I have found my problem to be the speeddo cable came apart inside the housing,less than 100 miles on it.Hope you have your's working now.
