2.5 or 3 inch exhaust for 396?

i have a 396 BB that has 11:1 compression, ported stock heads, 588 lift cam with 242 duration, 750 double pumper, and big tube headers with 3 inch collector. id like to run the exhaust all the way back so should i go with 2.5 or 3 inch? and any opinions on mufflers? im thinking Spintech.

Dynomax UltraFlo, Spintech and Borla. Out of those three... I would lean towards the UltraFlo or a Spintech XL or split case.

Might want to also check out MagnaFlow. They have a 2.5 and 3" system for our cars.

I had 3 in on my 402 . Used NAPA 3.5 to 3 in reducers, then 3 in to 2.5 reducers and then into my Dynomax Super Turbos for Corvettes (got them 4 hours old for 60 bucks,,,, like at the time 140 to 160 apiece and gotthem installed for 6 bucks,,,i tipped the guy 10.
