While I don’t think that I am ready to start welding on body panels, I have steadily progressed in my skills (as shown below). I had to show them off—even if they are not perfect welds. To me, the improvement over the beginning is worth bragging about.

If you have any advice on improving my welds, please chime in. The last picture of welds is where I am now.

LESSONS LEARNED!
Its best not to weld on a wooden table…you CAN weld wood

Even if you weld on the edge…you can still weld wood!

Given the above info…it’s safer to keep one of these close by! (I haven’t HAD to use it yet….yet)

And most importantly….never weld wearing shorts! You CAN WELD YOUR SKIN TOO!

What kind of welder are u using and what are ur settings at? Are you using a shielding gas?
