Does anyone know where to get new 2.73 gears for a 12 bolt preferably for a 3 series carrier?

3.27 first gear in the Richmond 5 speed. Allows me to slow the driveline down as well. It is still a better combo than my current 3.73 and M-21. 8.9:1 verses 8.2:1 first gear ratio and 2475 RPM at 70 verses 3350. Just thinking about it.

Well, I have a set in my current 12 bolt. Not sure if its a 3 series carrier or not. You're welcome to any parts of them.

I think the factory ones are a two series. Need my posi. Could also go with 3.08

Richmond Gear PN: 49-0094-1 is the 3.08 gear for the 12 bolt 3 series. That's the highest they make...

There are no 12 bolt 2.73 gears for a 3 series differential. They are all for the 2 series. There are no new 2.73 gears being made. You will need to find a good used set or a set of NOS gears. I have a few used gears.

Like Freddy said... no new 2.73's... and none for a 3 series carrier either.
FWIW... there is nothing wrong with a good used OE gear set. I use them in a lot of my Land Speed Record builds... especially in the 2.73 and lower ratios.

I dont know where you live and what car you have but if it is a 69 camaro and you are looking for lower gears, I would be willing to swap with you. I currently want to go to 3.73's and I have 3.08's in mine. If you are close enough maybe we can swap rears!! Let me know.
