I have been a member now for a few weeks and have really enjoyed reading on this forum. Thought I better post and introduce myself and my project. I bought a 1969 Camaro that had been fully tubbed and backhalfed years ago and very poorly I may add. It was reasonable and I thought since I would essentially be rebuilding most of the car anyway I would go the pro-touring route with it. Like everything else you learn a lot more as you get into these things. Everything that looked saveable was just paint covering up really bad bodywork and rust - even some expand-a-foam involved. Lots of unnecessary sheetmetal work. So here I am today and car has new quarters, new roof skin, new decklid, new rockers. Firewall, floor, trunk floor and tubs are all being custom made/fabricated and look beautiful. This will be one special Camaro when done. I hav 18x10 Foose Nitrous on the back and 18x8.5 on front with 305 Nitto on the back and 255 Nitto on the front. It will have an aftermarket subframe with tubular A arms and coil overs up front and a four link out back with a slightly narrowed 9 inch. Interior and drivetrain are still up in the are but will be decided by middle of summer. I will post pics of current progress soon. I am having Carter Hickman from this sight do a rendering for me - so I will share that as well as soon as final draft is complete - rough draft looks amazing! This guy has talent.
Thanks - awesome site!!

Welcome to the Carter Fan club and the board. Carter is doing my stuff now and is very professional and timely. You willl get some good ideas and bad influence (RE: making you spend more then you wanted to, helping you destroy your budget, LOL). Seriously, a great bunch of guys.

Welcome, you'll like the 305 Nitto's on the back of your ride. I saw a nice 69 running the same combo at a show in April and it was tuff.
