I just heard about a 71 SS that was stolen within the last 3 weeks from an upholstery shop! It was in storage for a couple weeks to have the front bucket seats re-upholstered and then it would have been ready to show, but when they searched their storage facility for it...it was nowhere to be found! The owner's insurance will
no doubt cover it but it case anybody sees one, it's orange with black stripes, 4-speed, grey factory SS wheels, 454 car. I think the owner paid about 20K for it being numbers matching but slightly rough and dumped another 35K into it as I understand.
