I plan to drive out on Sunday to catch up with everyone but I'm curious as to how this works. Are you guys arriving on Saturday night, staying the night and then leaving Sunday morning? Or do you arrive on Sunday Morning, stay for a few hours and then head out in the afternoon. The only reason I'm asking is that someone over at Lateral-G is inviting everyone over to his shop on Sunday after the stop. He says, "when you go to leave Kalamazoo on Sunday morning, stop by for some pancakes, we'll be providing breakfast for all the tour people".
I don't understand this...how long is everyone going to be in Kalamazoo on Sunday? Is it even worth it to drive out?

Saturday will be THE DAY in Cleveland. This is the day that launches the tour. Most arrive Friday night or early Saturday morning.
The tour leaves Sunday morning starting at 8:00 am from Cleveland to the first stop in Michigan on Sunday night. Most old timers do not go the starting point Sunday morning. We just leave from our Hotel and go the days evening stop or wherever/whatever other stops we want to make during the days drive.
The reason I will not go to the venue to leave with the group on Sunday morning is that it will take every bit of 2 hours just to get OUT of the parking lot to start the tour. I will have PLENTY of time to see the same cars in Kalamzoo that I saw on Saturday in Cleveland.
The gates in Kalamazoo will open at 12:00 pm per the Ptour literature however sometimes the promotors can be real butts and not let you in with a car until the tour leader arrives. Generally that's at or before 2:00pm. Everything will be over for the day in Kalamazoo at about 7:00pm if everything stays the same as the previous Ptours.
We will then spend the night in Kalamzoo and repeat the above process on Monday morning!

Hey Tony, I have been thinking about doing the same thing, just running over on Sunday. Is there a chance we could hook-up? There may be a couple of us. I am just south of I-69 in the Swartz Creek area so it's not far out of the way...

Hey Mike, if you are coming to Cleveland early take a look at what is going on Friday:
FRIDAY:
10:00 AM - 12:00 noon
A few members of the Hot Rod Forum calling themselves The “Forum Freaks” who will be in town early are going to the Louis Stokes Veterans Medical Center located on Brecksville Rd & Miller Rd in Cleveland from 10:00-12:00-ish Friday to honor the local vets and have a great time showing off their rides doing it. The VA hospital will have a parking lot reserved and a police escort while on the grounds. There should be a nice group of cars, but get there on time if at all possible. They will make room for more if needed. Local media coverage will also be at this event.
This is a great thing to do for those who have served our country! There is supposed to be a HUGE thank-you card for those of us that will be there, to sign.
4:30 PM - LATE
There is a group of participants and anyone else who wants to go are gathering Friday night at the Ramada Airport South located at 7233 Engle Rd, in Middleburg Heights OH to cruise to the coolest car-guy watering hole in C-Town. The group will leave there NO LATER than 4:30 to caravan to Quaker Steak & Lube in Independence OH.

At "The Lube" as we locals call it; you can eat while seated directly underneath several real classic and muscle cars suspended upside down from the CEILING! Every square foot from floor to ceiling of this place is loaded with cool go-fast stuff. There are also motorcycles, and race cars as well as tons of racing memorabilia ... it is a motorhead's sensory overload. If you are into cars/bikes/wings/burgers/beer or all of them this IS the place to go while you are in C-Town!
Jay who is the special events coordinator for the Valley View Quaker Steak is looking forward to having any and all Power Tour vehicles or local rides there Friday the 1st and will have special parking roped off adjacent to the outdoor patio (pictured above). Their patio has it's own full service bar and waitresses and is about 90% covered so even if we get rain you will be able to keep an eye on your cars which will be parked just a few feet from your tables in the front row of the parking lot.
If you don’t make it in time you can meet up with us at anytime that night. The parking lot and the adjacent lots will hold 1000+ cars and it is a nice area as well.
Although I will not be on the tour I will be at the Lube Friday and at the IX Center Saturday working. If anybody has any questions please PM me!!!! Hope to see some PT.com cars at either event Friday!

I would love to do all that however I am flying into Cleveland to meet Bill. He was not going to arrive until later in the day and I did not want to sit at the airport all day so I will arrive late Friday night. Bill will pick me up.
We both will be ready to go Saturday morning!!!!

Hey Bill,
The Power Tour was not in the cards for me this year.
Quicksilver is going into the shop next Wed. for some suspension upgrades.(Jason warned me about the "never done" bug)
However,by chance I am in Evansville on Wed. as I am playing in a golf tournament at a club there.
But I would love to catch up with you guys and hang out for a while
I am looking forward to meeting everyone and checking out the cars.
