Has anyone using brake drum hubs for a disc conversion run into bad hubs that were either warped or had excessive runout that ended up causing a problem with your brakes working?

No, but I did encounter an issue with mine that caused excessive runout in the rotor. Although the outer diameter of the hub was turned down to fit nicely within the rotor, it turned out that there was a slight lip on the center of the hub, on the "snout" where the bearings are installed. This lip did not allow the rotor to fully seat. Might take a look there?
