Has anyone ordered products from this company?
my order was paid for on 5-2-07 its now 5-21-07 still has not shipped my products yet...is this a real company?
I have asked Brian a few times now about shipping my order and its always a few days to get a reply, then he says it will ship next week and never does...just wondering?

Yeah, a few of us had the same issues a while back. Great product and a real company, just slow to get your stuff. It says 10 business days to ship when you order. Sometimes it is, sometimes it is longer.

I just wired mine this past weekend. I made a bracket to hold it in the RF fender of my 77Z, behind the battery. I hope to start the car tonight or tomorrow and find out how well it works. I did jump the blue lead and the fans spun at half speed, so that is good.

I wish the thing was offered in a more watertight box – those jumper pins are too exposed, IMO. And the crimp on connectors, ugh. I cut the plastic off them and soldered them, and replaced a few. Other then that, so far so good. As long as it works, those are minor complaints. :)

I thought about putting a fusible link on the output line from the controller to the fans to protect the controller more. But I figure links burn so slow that the damage would already be done, so I just used the one on the feed side. I may go back and add an in-line circuit breaker to give the controller more protection. That is how I wired my 1st electric fan in my 82 T/A a long time ago. A GM power window breaker, the ones that look like metal blade fuses, in a blade fuse holder.

There is no need for additional circuit output protection when Using the Delta Controller. Here's an exerpt for their website in the FAQ section:

Moreover, although the Delta controller output devices have a peak current rating in excess of 400A, the controller is internally current limited to 50A short term in order to regulate peak currents and 35A long term in order to protect a shorted or dragging fan. In other words, the peak current specification of the fan doesn't need to be considered when choosing a controller

I've got the FK35 controller. It took awhile to get it but It works fine. The only part that I don't like is how the temp probe is supposed to stay in place once you stick it in the rad. I had to get creative with some zap straps to keep it there. You don't want that probe wiggling out just before you hit heavy traffic.

I did get my controller...now waiting on to fab shroud up...

He does make these in batches and was very sorry about the late shipping and the time it took to ship...

As another post on here said he only does the making of the controller as a part time job...


you can order on the his site...but if you are in a hurry might want to check somewhere else...

jpAgreed. On the recent Power Tour my 572 never saw over 200, even in heavy traffic on the 95+ days.
