Got these springs at my front door of the house. Bought it from Summit racing for $300.60, with tax.

The front springs are stiffer than I thought it was. :woot:

You'll like 'em! I have them on my '88 SS with Bilstein shocks, and the car rides and handles great!

I have not put them in yet. Would do it later on, just gathering parts.

I have them in my '87 T. I found them pretty soft. The ride qaulity actually improved over the OE stuff.

Running Eibachs here too... not too soft, not too stiff.. just right! Except I wanted my front end a little lower...

Pair 'em with Bilsteins and you'll love the ride..

Question for you guys that have these springs installed. Are the tighter wound coils supposed to go at the top or the bottom in the rear of the car?

I was told by them that the logo should face up, which if IIRC the tighter wounds are at the bottom.

Well Tony, after looking at the one on the passenger side I had them upside down. The looser wound part needs to be on the bottom.

+1

probably the most significant change I made on my g-body, as far as ride/handling goes.

I just remember them telling me the logo needs to face up - guess I was wrong about the coils then.

I've got them on in the rear. I had them on upside down initially, LOL. My son and I flipped them Sunday. I chose the Eibach Pro Kit and Bilstein HD's based on the experience of F-Body guys believe it or not (the cars have a similar weight, so I thought they might get a similar performance difference over stock), before ever reading here that you folks liked them so much. So it looks like I made a good choice.

Tony, you're right about the logo. I just had them upside down.

The 'instruction' sheet, if you want to call it that says nothing about the logo being right side up when installed. So I overthought the install, and got the springs in wrong.
