Well its all done.. wasnt too hard.. It was however hard to get a good picture because of how shiny the polished aluminum is..LOL

I was amazed after riding in it that the bypass valve does make a large WHOOOSH sound like a BOV does with a turbo.. but it only does it under heavy throttle/Load when the engine is building serious boost..

I must comment that the car does now seem to build boost much slower and it also appears that i have lost 2psi of boost.. I was getting a good 8-9psi before but im not only getting 6psi..

I know my exhaust is seriously hold back the HP, so its hard to tell if it has any more power than before..

Im guessing im loosing at least 100-120hp threw exhaust .. (at the track i take the cover off of the exhuast dump)

I do know one thing... if you feel the pipe coming off of the supercharger it is very hot after a 10 min. ride... and on the other side of the intercooler the pipe is cool to warm at most..

sweet!! Is everything tight? Is it supposed to "whoosh"?

Valve should only make sound when there is vac present-like when you let off throttle or light cruise. If you are losing 2psi through the intercooler it may be a little inefficient, especially at only 9psi.
My blowoff/bypass valve sound like an airplane at light load or at the end of a run.

Everything is tight.. I had one of the hoses blow off on my first run... i went back and retightened everything..

It only Swooshes when i let off the throttle when giving it alot of big flipper..

The intercooler is supposidly good to 1000hp.. it is 4"thick by 28"wide by 12" high..

That looks like a nice setup. Who cares about the boost number as long as your making power. Now you should be able to crank up the boost for some more fun.
I have the 3.4" pulley on my D1SC and make about 18-19 psi. boost through an air to water intercooler.

I have the red Procharger bypass and like Steve said above it is a constant whoosh sound when in vac, at light throttle or cruise, but in my car it seems to make boost much faster than before the bypass was there.....

Steve I also have a D1-SC in my 92. Is the 3.4 the smallest pulley for the D1-SC? How fast does you unit spin with that pulley? I'm runnig Prochargers 1300HP A2A IC with 3.5" inlet/outlets.

The 3.4 is the smallest pulley Procharger sells for my 12-rib setup. I limit my revs to 6500 rpm, I can't remember the exact impeller rpm, but I know it is below the max. I think around 60,000 rpm. I see about 236 kpa (19 psi) of boost.
