What is your favorite brand and model of spray bomb to paint suspension parts? It's not going to be for my Nova project as those will all be powdercoated. I'm rebuilding the front end of my '61 T-Bird and replacing the Drum brakes with '65 T-Bird Disc brakes(Wilwood and Baer don't make disc brake kits for my year car!) so now that I have all the parts I wanted to paint them so that they are protected from the elements and clean up easy! I usually just use a high gloss spray bomb from HD but I was wondering if there was a paint that I am not aware of that's more durable for this part of the car?

VHT High temp. I like the clear. I use it to keep new parts looking new for a long time. I used it on my 72 Camaro, and it held up for at least 3 years. (when I sold the car, they still looked like new.)

I have had GREAT luck with PJ1, Fast Black. It's an epoxy so it is very durable, but dries fairly quickly. I get it at my local motorcycle shop.

Appliance epoxy, I have used this for a long time and i've had decent results. I mainly use gloss black, I have recently found stainless steel in a satin finish. Looks right at home on a car.

honestly I clean the crap out of everything and lay down several good coats of wally world paint hitit with a propane torch and let the VOCs burn off, maybe even hit it with a little paint while on fire to cook it on.Let the oparts sit in the sun for a while, and then give quick scuff sand after they cool off and its hard.
I will then give it a single med light coat and let it dry good.
My other favorite is a brand called Zynolite Speed-E-Namel, I painted my old 86 V8 Ranger with it back in 93 and saw the front of the truck in a picture at junkyard(friend runs it and was finally crushing it after so many years )and he asked me what I painted it with because even with no hood it still looked shiney and nice and he was impressed and wants to use it on his car project.
